BARCELONA

Dubblefilm, a staple in the Barcelona photo community, welcomed me to teach in 2024. I came to know them through Dom stocking Adam’s film in his Photodom store in Brooklyn, and Adam now stocking Dom’s cameras in his Gràcia store. There’s a true sense of mutual admiration, and support. The space has a warm and vibrant energy, and we have our own outdoor courtyard as the setting for the workshop.

BERLIN

Bildband welcomed me and tintype artist Tyler Blint-Welsh to co-lead a workshop in 2024, and it was such a joy to spend time in the beautiful space. Joe holds an incredible collection of photography books upstairs, with an amazing darkroom built into the shop downstairs. His passion for photography and his dedication to supporting the medium are paramount. It’s a pleasure to teach here, surrounded by the warmth and character of the space, with the back courtyard and cobblestone streets providing the perfect backdrop for our images.

LONDON

Wilkinson & Rivera will host our London workshop in their incredible workshop / showroom. Dear friends of mine, I’ve had the pleasure of watching their passion grow into the amazing furniture company they’ve built. I’m in awe of their dedication to their craft and everything they’ve created. It will be so special to work together to transform the store into a darkroom for the workshop.

FLORENCE

Numeroventi is a new introduction, thanks to Michelle of Camera38, a one-of-a-kind, community-run darkroom in Florence held together by passion. I’ve been teaching with them since 2023, and this year we’ll try something new in Florence: turning the renaissance residency of Numeroventi into an open-air darkroom, with the incredible façades and interiors of the building as our backdrop and studio. I’m honored to be welcomed to lead a workshop in this unique historic landmark, bringing photography, architecture, and community together in an extraordinary setting.
